One more reason
to stay a little longer.

There’s something special about a night when everyone sticks around on the couch a little longer. Someone’s sure they know the answer. Someone else is already arguing their case. And suddenly, the person who was “just watching” has to join in. That’s exactly the kind of evening I had in mind when I created Mi Yodea?

It all started at home with my family and kids. I wanted to build something we could play together on the TV, with our phones put aside and everyone in on the fun. I love technology, but I love it most when it brings people together. When friends joined us for games in our living room, the laughs, friendly debates, and surprise competitive streaks came with them. Before long, “Come on, one more round!” was taking care of itself.

Then it’s your turn. The clock is counting down and cutting you no slack. The sound effects build the suspense, and that answer you were so sure about suddenly feels a little less certain. All the excitement of a TV game show, right in your living room, with you in the hot seat. And that person who had all the answers a minute ago? Let’s see how they do with the clock ticking.

The game was built for the TV and the people sitting together in front of it. One remote, questions in Hebrew, and plenty of chances to surprise each other. The TV hosts, the trivia sparks the competition, but the best part is what happens between the people in the room. As far as I’m concerned, if we forgot to check our phones, it was a good night.

And this is just the beginning. The game keeps growing with new questions across a wide range of categories, so there’s always something new to discover and another chance to say, “Wait, how did you know that?!”
